Mr. David Wenzel was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and attended Washington High School. He received his major in Japanese at Washington University and his B.A in Management Information Systems from St. Louis University. He then graduated from Creighton University School of Law. After working in Omaha, Nebraska he moved back to Cedar Rapids to practice at Wenzel and Harms, P.C.



General practice including but not limited to: Mediation, Family Law (Trials, Divorce, Physical Care, Child Support), Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorneys), Probate, Real Estate, Contracts, Business Law, Special Needs Trusts.

Experience

David has volunteered with the American Cancer Society as a Board member, Boy Scouts,The Arc of East Central Iowa as a Board member, and Mediation Services of Eastern Iowa, as a Board member. He enjoys running, golfing, camping, fishing, traveling, cooking and martial arts.

Mediation Training

While at Creighton School of Law he became a certified mediator at the Werner Institute for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Center. David continued his training at Sovern Mediation. He performed several co-mediations with his father Richard C. Wenzel. He has a heathly mediation practice and really enjoy mediation.

Mediation is always valuable, even if an agreement is not reached. If you come to mediation with an open mind it can save you significant money and time.
