I am the senior attorney partner in the law firm of Caldwell and Brierly in Newton, IA. The geographical area of our practice includes the counties of Jasper, Poweshiek and Marion. I have been a trained mediator since 2001 and have assisted in training sessions presented by the Polk County Mediation Service. I have served as Section Chairperson for the Iowa State Bar Association's Family and Juvenile Law Section for two terms and I am currently serving on the Section Council. I am a presenter at the upcoming Family and Juvenile Law Section's October 2011 CLE Seminar on the topic of "Preparing Yourself and Your Client for Mediation and Settlement."
