Laura is a Court Roster family and divorce mediator, as well as a small claims mediator for the 6th Judicial Court.   She has been a Family Circle Conference Facilitator for the Iowa City Housing Authority.  She serves on the board of Mediation Services of Eastern Iowa (MSEI), a non-profit organization.

Education:  Laura graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  She earned a Master's in Education at Stanford University, where she also received her teaching credential.
